Hello, I’m Seonghyuk Im, AI fellow at Center for AI and Natural Sciences in the Korea Advanced Institute for Advanced Study (KIAS). ‘Im’ is my family name.

Before I joined KIAS, I was a Ph.D. student in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at KAIST, supervised by Prof. Jaehoon Kim and Prof. Hong Liu.

I was also a student researcher at the Extremal COmbinatorics and PRObability group (ECOPRO) in the Institute for Basic Science (IBS).

My research interests lie in extremal graph theory and I’m also interested in computational complexity of graph problems. Recently, I also trying to apply AI techniques to solve combinatorial problems.
